Mark has finally let Lily choose the movie for date night, but can’t be bothered to pay attention. On screen, Jane grows upset with her partner, Edward, who shows little interest in her life. As Lily and Mark passive-aggressively bicker in the cinema, the 19th century romance playing out on screen might reflect their true feelings more than they realise.
